Studio Rates
Lesson rates at Lanham Music are $18.00 per half-hour if lessons are paid for by the month. Each student will receive one half-hour lesson a week, unless a special arrangement is made. Most of the time, this will equal four lessons a month, adding up to $72.00 a month. Occasionally, there are five of a specific day in a month. If the student receives a fifth week of lessons, they will be charged an additional $18.00 for that lesson. If students desire to pay from week to week, the rate is $20.00 a lesson.
Lesson rates at the St. Joseph Arts Academy are $23.00 per half-hour. Students taking lessons through the academy are afforded additional benefits, such as the opportunity to participate in recitals each month.

Lesson Policies
When a student pays for lessons, they are paying for their time slot. In other words, they are paying for the opportunity to have four (occasionally five) lessons a month. If the student needs to cancel, it is their responsibility to request a make-up lesson. No missed lessons will be refunded. It is expected that each student arrive on time and prepared. In order to be prepared, students must practice five to six days a week for a consistent amount of time each day. If a student is late, they will not receive their full time. If a student repeatedly fails to attend their lesson without notification, they will lose their time slot. Prior notification is also required if a student chooses not to continue taking lessons.
